Akko CS Matcha Green Switches (Box of 45 Switches)

If you're looking at Akko switches, you probably know what they are already. I love that they come in a nice box - it adds nothing to the switches, but the joy of opening the box is an added bonus.

So what's the deal with them? Out of the box, these aren't lubed, but they feel pretty good without it. Only the slightest feeling of scratch and most people won't notice. With lube they are transformed into a smooth switch that feels rock-solid. The progressive nature of the spring can be felt - as you approach bottom-out, the spring becomes more resistant. So if you like the feel of a relatively light switch, but you worry about hitting the bottom, these can help. Very tight construction - I couldn't close them with a switch film/sticker in place.

Great feel, good sound (and a good price). I'd like to try pre-lubed ones just to see how they feel. Akko are just making great kit. Long may it continue.
